1.1 - Come at me, ro's

It's getting more difficult to restrain her homesickness. And the lack of her household robots, each in their way individual and attuned to her, is never more pronounced.
She desperately needs to talk Robotics.]
For those recovered from the recent port, or any who stayed aboard-- I wonder if any of you I do not know are familiar with robotics? Mister Stark, I believe, has mentioned AI in his posting, among others. A comparative discussion on local robotic design practice or the aspects of Programmatic Intelligence might not be particularly useful in rehabilitative efforts-- but still might be a pleasant way to spend an hour or so?

Those loyal to Earth tended to oppose the construction and use of robots in most capacities; anti-robot sentiment was strong. Those on the colonial planets called for the advancement of robotics and a complete separation from Earth's policy.
There was a war. Though less populous than Earth, the established worlds tended to be full of technologists with greater technical skill; these planets achieved their independence nearly as a technicality and for a time even avoided contact with Earth so thoroughly that it was half considered a myth.
Again, all of this is thousands of years past; the worlds have re-established contact with Earth, and grudging trade, but remain, staunchly-- 'The Spacer Worlds,' in contrast to Earth, and more recent Earth-loyal colonizations, 'The Settler Worlds.'
I am a Spacer; an Auroran, specifically, for that is my planet of origin.
