Positronic learning curves average at the linear; I will grant you. They do not HAVE to, however. That is part of my current work. Sensory input and the processing of that input can be expanded; there is some resistance to allowing Robots to learn at an expanded rate. Older members of the institute fear it will destabilize them-- projecting human limitations.
